Eat 3 Dates Everyday For 1 Week This Is What Happens To Your Body

Dates grow on the Date Palm Tree in massive clusters. These sweet little treats can be found in warm regions throughout the world, including the Middle East, California and even Florida. There are a wide variety of ways to enjoy eating your dates from simply baking them and enjoying them plain to adding them to your favorite sweet and salty dessert. Yet for all of their versatility, dates offer more than just a boost of flavor to your favorite meal. As it turns out, dates can be incredibly beneficial to your body in a number of different ways. Let’s take a close look at what happens to your body when you eat three dates every day for an entire week!

1. Reduced Risk Of Colon Cancer

First and foremost, we need to talk about how much of an impact that dates can have on your body. Dates are incredibly beneficial to your digestive system and anyone with GI problems can attest to how important these benefits are. Dates are comprised of potassium, manganese, iron, potassium, protein, and fiber. The fiber, specifically, is important for improving the way that food moves through your digestive tract. Yet, improving your digestion isn’t the point that we are trying to make.

According to a study put together by the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences, the frequent consumption of dates can be directly tied to enhanced health benefits for your colon. As you consume more dates, you’ll find that more ‘good bacteria’ will begin to grow. With more ‘good bacteria’ filling up your colon, you’ll be able to push back against the potential for colon cancer. Hearing of food that can fight against any kind of cancer will interest us, so we obviously believe in the benefits that regular date consumption can provide. Cancer isn’t a joke and colon cancer specifically is incredibly dangerous.   If you want to spruce up your meals while fighting one of the worst cancers around, grab a handful of dates on your way to work.

2. Long Lasting Energy

When you hear about high-level athletes following a special kind of diet in order to improve their performance, you have the right to be skeptical. However, when Novak Djokovic, one of the best tennis players of all time, admitted to eating dates during his matches, we perked our ears up. As it turns out, the regular consumption of dates can help to give you long-lasting energy. Not only are dates filled with all of the different nutrients that we highlighted above, but they are also packed with natural sugars and antioxidants. Whether you are trying to avoid your afternoon crash at work or you want to bring a little more energy to the gym, a handful of dates can help to get the job done.

As it turns out, dates are low on the glycemic index while also being stacked with carbohydrates. Foods that are low on the glycemic index tend to not leave you ‘crashing’ after the food wears off.  Dates are stacked with fructose and fiber and the slow release of their energy is ideal for when you are trying to get through your day. The low GI index that we pointed out above also means that you won’t deal with the sudden departure of energy. The next time that you want to grab an energy bar, you might be better off reaching for a couple of dates.

3. Digestive Health Improvements

We already talked a little bit about the impact that dates can have on your digestive tract, so let’s dig into the concept a little bit deeper. The nutritional makeup of dates makes them a great food to eat when you want to get your GI back on track, pun intended. Dates are filled with fiber. In fact, just a single cub of fiber can account for 50% of your suggested daily allotment. It’s easy to see how dates can have an impact, but what do the scientists and nutritionists say?

According to a report compiled by the British Journal of Nutrition, regular every-day consumption of dates can lead to dramatic improvement in the health of your stool and the frequency of your bowel movements. According to the study we just referenced, the magic number for GI health is roughly 7 dates per day. If you are someone who has trouble getting in your daily fiber or if you have problems with your digestive system, consider adding dates to your diet.

4. You’ll Fight Depression

Everything that goes on in your life is a result of something that is happening in your brain. Depression can be triggered by issues with your serotonin. Serotonin levels can be corrected by prescription drugs from your doctor but it can also be improved by eating foods with certain nutrients. Dates, for example, are fruits with a quality ratio of tryptophan to phenylalanine as well as leucine. Additionally, eating dates on a regular basis can help to improve your norepinephrine levels which can also impact whether or not you get impacted by depression. Lower norepinephrine levels have been linked to a host of problems including depression and ADHD.kw: serotonin, norepinephrine, depression

5. Treatment For Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids aren’t a ton of fun to talk about but they are a real problem for countless people throughout the world. Hemorrhoids are veins that can be found in your rectum and anus. When swollen and inflamed, you need to reduce constipation or else you’ll be in quite a bit of pain. While a doctor’s guidance is helpful when dealing with hemorrhoids, adjustments to your diet are one of the first approaches you should take to dealing with the issue. As it turns out, dates help to improve your level and quality of bowel movements which will, in turn, improve your problem with hemorrhoids.

6. Cure Your Achy Breaky Heart

We aren’t talking about your latest romantic fling, so sorry for getting your hopes up. Instead, we are talking about your cardiovascular system which includes your heat. Eating several dates a day can help to improve the quality of your cardiovascular system which will, in turn, lower your chances of having a heart attack. Foods with bad cholesterol can lead to dangerous levels of LDL. Fruits like dates are filled with potassium which helps to regulate your cholesterol. High levels of potassium will lower your risk of all sorts of cardiovascular-related issues.

Three Unlikely Animals Share A Den

Liz L

The animal kingdom is full of surprises, and one of the most remarkable is the story of a hyena, a warthog, and a porcupine that share a den in harmony. According to the African Journal of Ecology, these unusual roommates coexist in a den at a wildlife preserve in Kenya. Researchers were amazed to discover that these animals could live together in such close quarters, despite being predator and prey.

The den contains 7 hyenas, two porcupines, and three warthogs. They have lived together for months and use the same entrance and exit. Inside the den, they occupy separate chambers so they can keep their distance, but it is still unusual since these animals are both predator and prey. The only explanation so far is that each animal has its own defensive mechanism. Hyenas are natural predators, warthogs have big tusks, and porcupines have sharp spikes.

What is even more fascinating is that the animals seem to have established some kind of social hierarchy, with the hyenas at the top and the porcupines at the bottom. The hyenas have been observed tolerating the presence of the other animals, but they still remain cautious and alert.

The researchers believe that the den may have been the result of a fortuitous set of circumstances. Once the soil in the area became softer after the rain, the species separated because they could find other shelter and dig new holes. However, for these particular animals, the den may have been the only option for shelter, and so they learned to tolerate each other’s presence and established a unique living arrangement.

It is rare to see such a diverse group of animals living together in harmony, and it raises many questions about how animals interact with each other in the wild. The researchers hope to continue studying these animals to gain a better understanding of their behavior and social dynamics.

In the wake of natural disasters, communities come together to provide support and aid to those affected. This is the case in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, where the devastating tornadoes that recently ripped through the town left 26 people dead and many more injured. In the midst of this tragedy, a group of volunteers has emerged from an unexpected place: Ukrainian refugees who recently moved to Minneapolis.

The group of refugees, who have been in the United States for only three months, felt compelled to help in any way they could. The Ukrainian refugees were helped by many kind people as they settled into the United States, and now they feel a strong desire to give back. The volunteers are part of a Minneapolis-based nonprofit organization called American Service, which heeded the call for help from Rolling Fork and gathered a team of volunteers to head south.

Despite the challenges that come with a language barrier and cultural differences, the Ukrainian volunteers have shown incredible resilience and determination to help those in need. They plan to bring water and other necessary supplies to people working to clean up and rebuild the devastated town. The volunteers are determined to make a positive impact in any way they can, even if it means putting themselves in difficult and unfamiliar situations.

It is heartwarming to see individuals who have recently faced hardship and adversity in their own lives stepping up to help others in need. Their actions also demonstrate the important role that immigrants and refugees play in building and strengthening communities across the United States.

As the volunteers make their way to Rolling Fork, Mississippi, they carry with them the hope of a brighter future for all those affected by the tornadoes. Their selflessness and generosity serve as an inspiration to all of us, reminding us that we can all make a difference in the lives of others, no matter our circumstances. In a time of great tragedy, their actions are a shining example of the resilience and compassion that unites us all as human beings.

A bear was saved by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in northwest Minnesota in a heartwarming rescue. When a passing motorist noticed the bear, it was stuck in a ditch and unable to climb out. The DNR was notified immediately, and a team of experts was dispatched to the scene.

The bear, a young adult of about two years old, was discovered to be in good health but distressed. The DNR team quickly assessed the situation and devised a plan to return the bear to its natural habitat.

The rescue operation was delicate because the team had to keep the bear’s safety and well-being in mind. Special equipment and techniques were used by the DNR to carefully lift the bear out of the ditch and place it on a stretcher. The bear was then transported to a nearby location before being released back into the wild.

The successful bear rescue demonstrated the DNR team’s skill and expertise. The bear was unharmed when it was returned to its natural habitat, and it quickly ran off into the forest, free once more.

This is just one of many rescues carried out by the DNR each year. This rescue is a prime example of the organization’s important work in protecting and conserving wildlife and their habitats. The DNR works tirelessly to protect all wildlife in Minnesota and to ensure that they have the resources they need to carry out their missions.
